2010, Record Attempt

2010 at Lake Gairdner was wet again but crosswinds where the biggest problem for the week. The bike was blown of the track at around 140mph on two runs, one with the big tail and one with the small tail. Finally on the last day with the small tail and under geared we finally set a new record of 139.001mph.

SUCCESS AT LAST 139.001 MPH  Finally Beating Burt Munros Long Standing 1971 Record of 132.350 MPH

The vital element.............  Russel ... Stuart... Marsha... Keith.... Missing from this photo are Brian and Maxine our base crew in South Australia..... Without the dedication and support of these people and Keith in particular the record would have only remained a dream.
